Living Things and their parts

reproduce: To form offprings similars to the parents.

develop: All the change that occurs as a living thing grow.

consumer:.living thing that eat, or comsume, other living things.

producer: living things that make or produce their own food.

cellular respiration: the process by which food is broken down an enrgy is release.

cell: the basic unit of life.

adaption.: a trait that makes a living thing better able to survive.

cell mambrane: the cell part that give the cell shape and holds the cytoplasm

nucleus: the cell part that controls most of the same acticities

nucleoulus: the cell part that help make ribosome.

chromosome: cell part with information that determines what traits a living thing will have.

cytoplasm: The clear, jellylike material between the cell membrane and the nucleus.

ribosome: cell part where proteins are made.

mitochondria: cell, part that produce energy for food that have been digested.

vacuol:a liquid-filled space that store food, water, and minerals.

centroile:cell part that help with cell reproduction.

chloroplast:cell part that contains the green pickment chloropyll

cell wall: the thick, auter convering aoutside the cell mambrane

diffusion: the movement of a substance from where there is a large amount of it to ehere there is is a small amount of it.

osmosis: the movement of water across the cell mamabrane.

tissue: a group of similar cells that works together to carry out a similar job

organ: a gruop of tissue that work together to do a job.

organ system: a group of organs that woks together to do a certain job.
























organism: a living thing.
